Groups

Building authentic community.

Church is not just a place to attend
but a community to belong to.

Why "Authentic Community?"

One of the primary reasons for Community Groups is to provide a way to connect with others. The reality is meaningful relationships are exactly what we need and what many desire in their life. Community groups are a great way to begin that process. Get together with people in your city, in your neighborhood or maybe even on your job to learn, grow and serve together. There are 3 ways we facilitate this.

We have found that God often meets us in the things we most enjoy. Live Groups gather a community around a shared interest. These groups are typically comprised of things people are already doing in everyday life or passionate about. This could be through hobbies, sports, art, music, fitness, or anything in between.

Learn Groups are geared for development and depth. These groups engage in scripture, conversation, practices, and questions that help people learn and live the ways of Jesus. The primary driver of group life at Cityline are Learn Groups. It is God’s heart and desire to see his people living out a lifestyle that is Passionately Pursuing him.

One of our core movements at Cityline is to “Live Generously.” One of the ways God has mobilized our community is in the form of Love Groups. Love Groups are centered around serving our community and making an impact in our local surroundings through Cityline sponsored initiatives and partnerships. This includes homeless outreach, city care projects, and partnerships with organizations.
